- A mysterious company is buying up plots of land in the San Francisco Bay area. The New York Times surmises that the elite of Silicon Valley may be trying to build a city of their own.
- More out of Silicon Valley, there’s a new trend where Men are trying to artificially boost their testosterone levels. We expect to see bio hacking increase in the coming months and year because it plays into a very deep concern of men. As new treatments arise, we are betting it will be pushed too far and regulated tighter again.
- Chinese companies are racing to build battery plants fueled by government grants and subsidies. There are a lot of comparisons to the aluminum and steel industries which China dominates, but is there an element of broadband in late 1990s? Overbuild and crash but then the backbone of the future use cases.
